“Could you add two more slides?”

01 / A useful starting point

Find the gaps
in your next brief.

Write down what you know. Leave anything you haven’t agreed on blank. Get a plain-text review you can use to prepare your next client conversation.

Client Brief Check

Use a fictional project first. Keep passwords, payment information, and personal details out of the fields.

List the files, quantities, dimensions, formats, and anything excluded.

Name the channels and production requirements that affect the design.

A role is enough. Clarify who combines feedback and gives approval.

Include source files, final copy, access requirements, and an agreed due date.

State the review rounds, approval step, and handoff contents to agree on.

No upload or browser storage. This page doesn’t send your answers to a server. Reloading clears them; download a copy if you want to keep them.

A look at the language.

Excerpts from the kit’s two fictional project records.

Example A / Logo design

Keep the scope specific.

“Three final lockups: horizontal, stacked, and icon. Each lockup in full color, black, and white. Each variant exported as SVG, vector PDF, and transparent PNG.”

From the fictional $900 logo project. The full example also defines dimensions, two review rounds, exclusions, a one-page use guide, and a declined extra request.

Example B / Presentation design

Record the decision.

“Please reply ‘Approve change AC-C01’ if you want me to proceed on these terms.”

From the fictional presentation project. The preceding quote specifies two extra FAQ slides, a $150 addition to the $1,200 project, and a delivery target moved from 30 October to 2 November. A separate approval follows in the record.

These are practical workflow templates, not a contract or legal advice. They do not replace a project agreement or guarantee a particular client outcome.

03 / Before you use it

A few clear answers.

Is the brief checker free?

Yes. Use the five fields and download the review without an account or payment. The downloadable blank checklist is also free.

Does the checker use AI to judge my answers?

No. It only checks whether each field contains text and lists unanswered fields. It does not evaluate quality, feasibility, or agreement. You and your client make those decisions.

What happens to the text I enter?

The brief check runs in this page. Your five brief answers stay in the browser and are not saved in browser storage. Downloading creates a text file on your device; reloading clears the brief. The separate, optional feedback form sends only its three choices, a random response ID, and a live/test marker; the server adds a timestamp. Hosting services may process ordinary web request data. We do not collect your name or email through these forms.

Can I buy the full kit now?

Not yet. This is a product preview with a working free tool. The planned price is $29 USD for one purchase. Checkout, final delivery contents, purchase terms, and a support contact will be published before sales open.
